We strictly enforce a no-smoking policy, including e-cigarettes, throughout all guest rooms and indoor public spaces. A 200 USD deep cleaning fee will apply to any guest who smokes in standard rooms. A deep cleaning fee of one night's room rate will apply to any guest who smokes in suites.
While we usually agree with "the more, the merrier," a maximum of four guests per room (double occupancy required) can be admitted to the WET® Deck. Daytime use passes are available for non-hotel guests Sunday thru Friday, subject hotel activities and occupancy. No outside food or beverage is allowed. No lifeguard is on duty and children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Suite Night Award Cancellation Policy
Suite Night Award requests may be cancelled until 2 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, as long as the Awards have not already been confirmed for use on a reservation. Once your Awards have been confirmed, you must cancel the entire reservation to be credited back all the Awards; however, after 3 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, a reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all Suite Night Awards applied to the entire reservation. This is in addition to any other cancellation penalties applicable to the reservation itself.
Guests must be 21 and over to consume alcoholic beverages, with a valid driver's license or passport. Per state law alcohol is not served past 2am.
We welcome cats and dogs 40 pounds or less. Guests must sign a waiver upon check-in and will be charged $25 per pet per day above the room rate. There is also a non-refundable $100 cleaning fee regardless of length of stay. Pets cannot be left unattended in a guest room at any time. Pets must also remain on a leash when in public areas and are not allowed in the WET deck, Living Room, and Trace indoor areas.
Guests bringing a guide dog or service animal are asked to include this information when making a reservation, so the hotel may prepare for their arrival.
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 21 years of age or older with valid photo identification to reserve a guest room or check in.
The safety and security of our guests and associates is of the utmost importance. The hotel prohibits any person from carrying any firearm in any manner onto the hotel premises, which are private property. Any firearm, whether it is a handgun or a long-barreled gun, carried onto the premises must be surrendered to hotel security for safekeeping. A guest who fails to abide by this policy may be asked to leave the premises.
Exempted from this policy are law enforcement officers and designated military personnel who are on duty and required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties. Civilians, even those who are licensed and permitted to carry a firearm openly or concealed under local, state, or federal law, are not exempt from this policy.
Early Arrival Policy
Standard check-in time for the hotel is 3pm. Early check-in is offered for a fee, subject to availability.
Babysitting/Child Care Policy
Babysitting services can be arranged through the Concierge Desk with at least 24 hours advance notice.
Credit Card Policy
We require a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diner's Club) to be presented at check-in.
The hotel does not accept credit card authorization forms. To arrange payment with a third-party credit card, please contact the hotel's accounting department at least 72 hours prior to arrival at (512) 542-3642 or WAustinCCAuthorization@whotels.com. After hours, please contact the manager on duty. Third-party credit card(s) are not accepted for arrivals within 72 hours.
We require a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club and Carte Blanche) to be presented at check-in. While cash is accepted, a credit card is required at check-in for incidentals.
Connecting Room Policy
The hotel offers connecting rooms between Kings and Doubles. Some Suites can also be connected, such as the Fantastic Suite to Spectacular Double Queens, Marvelous Suite to Spectacular King and Extreme WOW Suite to Spectacular King. Please request for connecting rooms in advance, subject to availability.
Check cashing services are available for guests who present a valid, major credit card with photo identification. A limit of 100 USD per day and 300 USD per stay applies. Gold, Platinum and VIP Starwood Preferred Guest members can cash any amount per day, up to 300 USD per stay.
The hotel is compliant with federal government regulations for the Americans with Disabilities Act. Room amenities include TDD, close-captioned TV, handrails in bathroom by the bathtub and toilet, lowered toilet seats, roll-in showers, lower door peepholes and handicap parking. Please contact our Whatever/Whenever® service for TDD equipment set-up.
While the sky's the limit, we do not allow events in our suites. If you're looking to host an intimate affair, our catering team will assist with fulfilling your wish.
A maximum of 4 guests are permitted in a suite or guest room at any one time (6 are permitted in WOW Suites and the Extreme WOW Suite). Any compensation given to guests disturbed by you or your guests may be charged to your account at the hotel’s discretion.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Family Plan Policy
Room rates include the accommodation of children (17 years old or younger) who sleep in the existing bedding of a guest room. Rollaway beds and cribs may incur extra charges.
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee of one night's room and tax applies to guests checking out prior to their departure date confirmed at check-in, if the hotel is not notified by 3pm the day before the new departure date. Please check the terms of your reservation for specific conditions or exceptions.
Extra Bedding Policy
Our Whatever/Whenever® service will be thrilled to provide a crib for our wee guests, available by request. Rollaway beds are also available by request in select rooms for a fee. Cozy, Fabulous, and Cool Corner Suites can only accommodate air beds; however, our King bedded rooms and suites can accommodate traditional rollaway beds. Rooms with two Queen beds have a maximum 4 guests per room and cannot accommodate additional bedding. Please advise of your needs while making your reservation.
Late Checkout Policy
Standard checkout is at 12pm. A late checkout fee of half the daily rate will be charged for late checkouts between 12pm and 3pm. For any checkout after 3pm a full nightly rate will be charged. All late checkouts are based on demand and the hotel's ability to offer it.
Gift Certificate Policy
Gift certificates are valid only for the duration stated, unless otherwise instructed, booking is subject to availability. Gift certificate reservations must be made at least two weeks before arrival. To redeem a gift certificate for a complimentary room, please contact our executive assistant at (512) 542-3633 or firstname.lastname@example.org. To redeem a gift certificate with a monetary amount, please book the best available rate, and the gift certificate amount will be applied to your folio. The original certificate must be presented at check-in.
In an effort to create a peaceful environment for all of our guests, please be advised that parties of any kind are not permitted in any of our guest rooms or suites. Noise complaints are taken very seriously and may result in eviction without compensation. Compensation may be given to guests who have been disturbed by you or your guests, and may be charged to your account at the hotel’s discretion.
Package Handling Policy
We are happy to accept, hold and ship packages on behalf of hotel guests for a handling fee. The hotel will accept receipt of one package up to 25 pounds without charges. For any additional packages please contact our Whatever/Whenever® service for more information on surcharges.
Please ensure that all packages sent to the hotel include the hotel name and address, the name of the guest receiving the package, the arrival date of the guest, and (if applicable) the name of the group they are attending.
