Early Departure Policy
If you have a sudden change of schedule and need to cut out early, stop by the front desk. We’ll settle your bill for just the nights you stayed.
Late Checkout Policy
Feel free to sleep in—checkout time isn’t until 12 noon. Looking to stick around a bit longer? Let us know and we’ll try to keep the room available for you. There’s no guarantee, and if you stay put past 3pm, another night’s room charge will apply. But if we need you to clear the room, we can always stash your suitcase somewhere else until you’re ready to go.
Animals are family, too! That’s why Aloft Denver Downtown welcomes dogs up to 40 pounds.* Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping!
* If your dog weighs more than 40 pounds, please contact the hotel directly to discuss a waiver.
Age Requirement Policy
Kids are always welcome—as long as there are adults around too! At least one occupant of each Aloft room must be 21 years or older. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.
Suite Night Award Cancellation Policy
Suite Night Award requests may be cancelled until 2 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, as long as the Awards have not already been confirmed for use on a reservation. Once your Awards have been confirmed, you must cancel the entire reservation to be credited back all the Awards; however, after 3 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, a reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all Suite Night Awards applied to the entire reservation. This is in addition to any other cancellation penalties applicable to the reservation itself.
Sorry, it’s nothing personal—but we don’t accept personal checks for payment. However, we do accept personal checks for deposits on groups/events. We require a credit card on reservations with a personal check deposit. In the case of a returned check, a fee will be charged to the credit card on file along with any additional balance due.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Family Plan Policy
Room rates include the accommodation of children (17 years old or younger) who sleep in the existing bedding of a guest room. Rollaway beds and cribs may incur extra charges.
Early Arrival Policy
Check in at 3pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees—it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule—but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime.
For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, passport, and/or proof of age card.

Package Handling Policy
