The hotel does not accept checks for payment on the day of arrival. Guests wishing to pay by check must submit the check at least 14 days prior to the day of arrival. Every check must have been issued by a U.S. bank and must be in U.S. funds.
In keeping with our Breathe Westin® initiative, all guest rooms and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. A 200 USD cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy.
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee may be imposed on guests departing prior to their scheduled departure date confirmed at check-in. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Extra Bedding Policy
A maximum of one rollaway bed is available in guest rooms with a king-size bed. Rollaway beds cannot be added in rooms with two double beds or a pull-out sofa bed.

Suite Night Award Cancellation Policy
Suite Night Award requests may be cancelled until 2 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, as long as the Awards have not already been confirmed for use on a reservation. Once your Awards have been confirmed, you must cancel the entire reservation to be credited back all the Awards; however, after 3 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, a reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all Suite Night Awards applied to the entire reservation. This is in addition to any other cancellation penalties applicable to the reservation itself.
We accept dogs up to 80 pounds and all cats. No pet deposit is required; however, a cleaning fee may be added if necessary. Guests will need to complete a pet waiver at the time of check-in. Pets must be accompanied by their owner at all times. No pets may be left unattended in a guest room.
Early Arrival Policy
The hotel offers early arrival upon request, based on availability at time of arrival. Guaranteed early check-in may be granted subject to availability for an additional fee. Please contact the hotel in advance to make arrangements or for further information.
EMV/Chip & PIN Credit Card Policy
Please be aware this hotel is EMV/Chip & PIN ready and your credit card’s PIN may be necessary for you to check-in to the hotel. If you are not aware of the PIN for your chip credit card, or you are unsure if your card requires a PIN, please contact the financial institution that issued your credit card for clarity and to secure your PIN.
A valid credit card is required at check-in for payment of the room, tax, and incidentals. Guests using chip enabled debit cards are required to enter their PIN into the card reader when checking in. Some financial institutions may also require a secure PIN to verify transactions with chip enabled credit cards as well. Please consult your financial institution before arrival for more information. If a guest is paying cash, a deposit equal to the room, tax, and 100 USD per day will be collected at check-in.
For payments by a third-party credit card, please contact the hotel’s accounting department at least 72 hours prior to guest’s arrival. Credit card authorizations are not accepted within 72 hours of a guest’s arrival. The credit card used for a prepaid rate must be presented at check-in.
All hotel suites have a maximum fire code capacity. Any gatherings in violation of code will be automatically shut down, and everyone but the registered guest will be asked to leave. Please consult a Catering Sales Manager for information on specific capacities.
Purchase Order Acceptance Policy
Purchase Orders are not accepted.
Family Plan Policy
Room rates include the accommodation of children (17 years old or younger) who sleep in the existing bedding of a guest room. Rollaway beds and cribs may incur extra charges.
Gift Certificate Policy
The original gift certificate must be presented at time of service. Gift certificate redemption is subject to availability. Gift certificates are valid for all goods and services charged to a guest room. Any unused portion of the gift certificate will be reimbursed via mailed check after guest departure.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Food and Beverage Policy
All food and beverages for the purpose of entertaining in a guest room or suite must be provided by the hotel.
Connecting Room Policy
The hotel offers connecting rooms upon request and subject to availability. In order for the hotel to accommodate connecting/adjoining room requests, the parties who will occupy each room must be present together at check-in. Please note that connecting rooms cannot be confirmed in advance. For special circumstances, please contact the hotel directly.
To maintain a quiet and sleep-conducive environment, the hotel will issue a warning to an offending guest if there is a noise complaint. If there is a second complaint, everyone but the registered guest will be required to leave the guest room or suite. If there is a third complaint, the registered guest will be evicted from the hotel with no refund.
Tax Exempt Policy
Please note that the Washington State Dept. of Revenue does not accept the US Government exemption certificates as proof of tax exempt status. Qualified purchases must be paid for using a 1) qualified exempt US Government credit card (GSA SmartPay card), 2) by a check from the US Treasury or 3) payment with valid Office of Foreign Missions Tax Exemption ID card.
