Feel free to sleep in—check-out time isn’t until 12 noon. Looking to stick around a bit longer? Let us know and we’ll try to keep the room available for you. There’s no guarantee, but if we need you to clear the room, we can always stash your suitcase somewhere else until you’re ready to go.
In the case of a confirmed late checkout between 12pm and 6pm, an additional fee of 50% of the daily room rate will apply. For checkout after 6pm, an additional full-night's room rate will apply.
Aaahhh…breathe easy! We're a 100% smoke-free environment. So please follow our no-smoking rules—there's a $500 (USD) fine per night for anyone lighting up inside the hotel.
Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
Our elevators have floor-access restrictions based on keycard controls. A guest must have an active magnetic room keycard to access the floor on which a room is located.
The maximum occupancy for all room types is three adults or two adults and two children (in rooms with 2 queen beds), 12 years and under. Four adults are not permitted in one room.

Early Departure Policy
If you have a sudden change of schedule and need to cut out early, stop by the front desk. We’ll do our best to settle your bill—but we may have to charge you for your full reservation or special promotion, depending on the cancellation policy.
Age Requirement Policy
Kids are always welcome—as long as there are adults around too! At least one occupant of each Aloft room must be 18 years or older. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm
For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, passport, and proof-of-age card. Photo identification must also match the name that is on the reservation.
In the Panama, alcohol is for adults-only—so we only serve and sell to guests 18 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Connecting Room Policy
Traveling together with family or friends? Many of our Aloft rooms can be connected. Make sure to ask when you reserve or check-in and we'll do our best to set you up, as availability permits.
Suite Night Award Cancellation Policy
Suite Night Award requests may be cancelled until 2 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, as long as the Awards have not already been confirmed for use on a reservation. Once your Awards have been confirmed, you must cancel the entire reservation to be credited back all the Awards; however, after 3 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, a reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all Suite Night Awards applied to the entire reservation. This is in addition to any other cancellation penalties applicable to the reservation itself.
Extra Bedding Policy
Extra bedding and rollaway beds are not allowed in any room in the hotel.
Animals are family, too! That’s why Aloft Panama welcomes dogs up to 40 pounds.* Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping!
* If your dog weighs more than 40 pounds, please contact the hotel directly to discuss a waiver.
Family Plan Policy
Room rates include the accommodation of children (12 years old or younger) who sleep in the existing bedding of a guest room.
Gift Certificate Policy
Got an Aloft or Starwood gift certificate? We’ll happily apply them to your hotel bill, just be sure to get in touch with us at email@example.com prior to arrival so we can work out the details.
Early Arrival Policy
Check in at 3pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees—it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule—but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime.
Guest can prepay with credit card (authorization form and copy of the credit card and ID of the credit card holder is required) or wire transfer. Information regarding payment form can be requested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
