Feel free to sleep in—check-out time isn’t until 12 noon. Looking to stick around a bit longer? Let us know and we’ll try to keep the room available for you. There’s no guarantee, and if you stay put past 3pm another half or full night’s room charge will apply. But if we need you to clear the room, we can always stash your suitcase somewhere else until you’re ready to go.
In the state of Texas, alcohol is for adults-only—so we only serve and sell to guests 21 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Package Handling Policy
We’re happy to accept and hold packages sent to you—just be sure whoever’s sending them knows to clearly mark packages with both sender and recipient info. Please contact us directly for the package-handling fee for incoming packages.
Guests with special needs will feel right at home! We’re fully compliant with ADA regulations, including offering fifteen guest rooms with accessible bathrooms and other features. To be sure an ADA room’s available for you at check-in, remember to request it when making your reservation.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Animals are family, too! That’s why Aloft Dallas Downtown welcomes dogs up to 50 pounds*. Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping!
* If your dog weighs more than 50 pounds, please contact the hotel directly to discuss a waiver.
Early Arrival Policy
Check in at 3pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees—it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule—but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime. And just note that if you need to be in the room before 8am, you’ll be charged for the previous night.
Aaahhh…breathe easy! We're a 100% smoke-free environment. So please follow our no-smoking rules—there's a fine up to $1000 for anyone lighting up inside the hotel.
Credit Card Policy
A valid credit card is required at check-in. Cash may only be used to settle charges upon check-out.
Our splash pool offers family fun from morning to night! But please be careful—kids 12 and under can't splash around alone, so be sure they're always accompanied by an adult.
Family Plan Policy
Room rates include the accommodation of children (17 years old or younger) who sleep in the existing bedding of a guest room. Rollaway beds and cribs may incur extra charges.
With the goal of creating a peaceful environment for all guests, please be advised that parties of any kind are not permitted in any of our guest rooms or suites. Nonregistered visitors must exit guest rooms by 11pm. If you are interested in hosting a party or entertaining during your stay, please contact our Banquet and Sales Department.
Noise is expected to be kept to a minimum at all times. Noise complaints are taken seriously and may result in eviction without compensation.
Age Requirement Policy
Kids are always welcome—as long as there are adults around too! Guests must be 21 years or older to check in. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.
Extra Bedding Policy
Need to fit in an extra spot for sleeping a little one? We’ve got comfy air mattresses for kids, plus cribs for your littlest ones. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Suite Night Award Cancellation Policy
Suite Night Award requests may be cancelled until 2 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, as long as the Awards have not already been confirmed for use on a reservation. Once your Awards have been confirmed, you must cancel the entire reservation to be credited back all the Awards; however, after 3 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, a reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all Suite Night Awards applied to the entire reservation. This is in addition to any other cancellation penalties applicable to the reservation itself.
Gift Certificate Policy
Got an Aloft Dallas Downtown gift certificate? You’ll need to contact us directly at (214) 761-0000 to make your reservation, which is subject to availability. Make sure your certificate’s been signed and dated by a hotel representative—and be sure to bring it with you when you check in.
