Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 21 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Only dogs under 40 pounds are allowed. No other pets are permitted. Guests must provide a valid credit card upon arrival to secure an authorized form of payment for possible damages, as well as sign a liability waiver for damages and/or cleaning. Availability of the Heavenly® Dog Bed and bowls are limited and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no guarantee of availability for every guest with a dog. Pets are only allowed on the second floor of the hotel regardless of SPG® level or requests for upgrades; therefore, SPG floors and the Club Level are not available for guests with pets. Guests are responsible for the conduct of their pets while on hotel grounds and must fully comply with hotel policies, including noise abatement, unattended pets, leash requirements, and pet-free zones.
Service animals that provide assistance to individuals with disabilities are not considered pets. They are welcome at the hotel and are not subject to the policies and restrictions that apply to pets or other animals.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older (with valid identification).

Valid identification and electronic authorization are required in order to cash checks.
Suite Night Award Cancellation Policy
Suite Night Award requests may be cancelled until 2 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, as long as the Awards have not already been confirmed for use on a reservation. Once your Awards have been confirmed, you must cancel the entire reservation to be credited back all the Awards; however, after 3 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, a reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all Suite Night Awards applied to the entire reservation. This is in addition to any other cancellation penalties applicable to the reservation itself.
The Westin Richmond is 100% Non-Smoking. There is a $200 fee for smoking in the hotel.
