Traveling together with family or friends? We have limited connecting room types available. Make sure to ask when you reserve or check-in and we’ll do our best to set you up, as availability permits. And even if we can’t offer you connecting rooms, we’ll be sure to assign you rooms as close together as possible.
EMV/Chip & PIN Credit Card Policy
Please be aware this hotel is EMV/Chip & PIN ready and your credit card’s PIN may be necessary for you to check-in to the hotel. If you are not aware of the PIN for your chip credit card, or you are unsure if your card requires a PIN, please contact the financial institution that issued your credit card for clarity and to secure your PIN.
Family Plan Policy
Room rates include the accommodation of children (17 years old or younger) who sleep in the existing bedding of a guest room. Rollaway beds and cribs may incur extra charges.
Guests with special needs will feel right at home! We’re fully compliant with ADA regulations, including offering guest rooms with accessible features.
Suite Night Award Cancellation Policy
Suite Night Award requests may be cancelled until 2 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, as long as the Awards have not already been confirmed for use on a reservation. Once your Awards have been confirmed, you must cancel the entire reservation to be credited back all the Awards; however, after 3 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, a reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all Suite Night Awards applied to the entire reservation. This is in addition to any other cancellation penalties applicable to the reservation itself.
All guests must maintain a noise level that does not disturb other guests. A maximum of 4 people are permitted in a room at one time. If a noise complaint is reported, our security team will issue a warning to the offending guest’s room. If the noise or disturbance continues after the initial warning, guests may be asked to vacate the hotel without compensation or refund.
In the state of South Carolina, alcohol is for adults only-so we only serve and sell to guests 21 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
All direct billing must be preapproved by hotel management and is based on room-night volume. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.
Age Requirement Policy
Kids are always welcome—as long as there are adults around too! At least one occupant of each Aloft room must be 21 years or older. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.
If a catastrophe interrupts a travel itinerary that includes a full-deposit reservation, please contact the hotel for further information.
Early Arrival Policy
Check in at 4pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees—it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule—but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime.
International visitors, make sure your paperwork’s in order— we may need to see your passport (and visa, if you have one) as identification to validate your payment. At check-in, we’ll need to take a photocopy of your passport’s visa page, as required by law.
Aaahhh…breathe easy! We're a 100% smoke-free environment. So please follow our no-smoking rules—there's a 250 USD fine per night for anyone lighting up inside the hotel.
Late Checkout Policy
Feel free to sleep in—checkout time isn’t until 12 noon. Looking to stick around a bit longer? Let us know and we’ll try to keep the room available for you, although there may be an additional charge for staying past 2pm. There’s no guarantee, but if we need you to clear the room, we can always stash your suitcase somewhere else until you’re ready to go.

That’s why Aloft Greenville Downtown welcomes dogs up to 40 pounds.* Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping!
