Our splash pool offers family fun from morning to night! But please be careful—there's no lifeguard on duty. For that reason, kids can't splash around alone, so be sure they're always accompanied by an adult. For everyone's safety, splash is only accessible with a guest room key.
Late Checkout Policy
Feel free to sleep in—check-out time isn’t until 12 noon. Looking to stick around a bit longer? Let us know and we’ll try to keep the room available for you. There’s no guarantee, but if we need you to clear the room, we can always stash your suitcase somewhere else until you’re ready to go.
EMV/Chip & PIN Credit Card Policy
Please be aware this hotel is EMV/Chip & PIN ready and your credit card’s PIN may be necessary for you to check-in to the hotel. If you are not aware of the PIN for your chip credit card, or you are unsure if your card requires a PIN, please contact the financial institution that issued your credit card for clarity and to secure your PIN.
Age Requirement Policy
Kids are always welcome—as long as there are adults around too! At least one occupant of each Aloft room must be 21 years or older. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.

All guests must maintain a noise level that does not disturb other guests. If a noise complaint is reported, security will issue a warning to the offending guest's room. If the noise or disturbance continues then the guest may be asked to leave the hotel. The offending guest will be given up to three warnings depending upon the severity of the situation.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Package Handling Policy
We will be happy to accept and hold packages sent to you, free of charge; just pick them up at the Front Desk.
Early Arrival Policy
Check in at 3pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees—it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule—but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime.
Connecting Room Policy
Traveling together with family or friends? Many of our Aloft rooms can be connected—usually a king room with a double queen. Make sure to ask when you reserve or check in and we'll do our best to set you up, as availability permits.
Family Plan Policy
Room rates include the accommodation of children (17 years old or younger) who sleep in the existing bedding of a guest room. Rollaway beds and cribs may incur extra charges.

Early Departure Policy
If you have a sudden change of schedule and need to cut out early, stop by the front desk. We’ll do our best to settle your bill—but we may have to charge you for your full reservation.
Extra Bedding Policy
We do offer an inflatable mattress on request and based on availability at no extra charge, but many of our Aloft rooms offer two queen-size beds, so be sure to ask if that's what you need. And we're always eager to accommodate your little ones, with baby cribs and child-size air mattresses (thanks to our camp Aloft program) available at no extra charge.
Guests with special needs will feel right at home! We’re fully compliant with ADA regulations, including offering guest rooms with accessible features.
Feel free to unwind with a drink in your room—just keep in mind, alcohol’s not allowed in the hotel’s public places.

Animals are family, too! That’s why the Aloft Chapel Hill welcomes dogs up to 40 pounds.* Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping!
Kindly note that dogs must be accompanied by an owner at all times. They must be on a leash or in a crate and may not be left in the guest room without an owner present.
* If your dog weighs more than 40 pounds, please contact the hotel directly to discuss a waiver.
Credit Card Policy
Credit must be established at check-in. Cash paying guests are required to maintain a credit card on account to cover incidental charges. Appropriate estimates are established for credit card authorizations and debit cards will be secured as well. These funds, if not utilized, will be released from the guest’s bank account 4 days after check-out.
