Federal Government Travel: To be eligible for tax exemption, guests must provide a Federally issued GSA SmartPay2 card to pay for room and tax and complete the appropriate form at the reception desk prior to check out.
Extended Stay Guests: Guests who notify the hotel of their intention to stay 30 or more consecutive days, and who actually stay for at least the next 30 consecutive days, will be exempt from the date of notification. Guests who do not notify the hotel must pay the tax for the first 30 days and thereafter will be exempt.
The hotel does not offer check cashing services. Additionally, personal checks are not accepted as a form of payment; however, corporate checks can be accepted with prior authorization.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution. The hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Early Arrival Policy
Check in at 3pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees, it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule, but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime.
Package Handling Policy
There is no charge for packages received by the hotel for guests. Guests must have an upcoming reservation in order for the hotel to receive the package prior to arrival. Packages not retrieved within 2 weeks after checkout will be returned to the original sender.
Late Checkout Policy
Late check outs are sometimes possible, subject to room availability, so please ask at the front desk. For checkouts after 2pm and before 6pm (local time), the fee is equal to 50% of the nightly room rate plus tax. Checkouts after 6pm are charged one night’s room rate plus tax. There’s no guarantee, but if we need you to clear the room, we can always stash your suitcase somewhere else until you’re ready to go.
For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, passport, and proof-of-age card. Photo identification must also match the name that is on the reservation.
Extra Bedding Policy
We don't have any extra rollaway beds, but many of our Aloft rooms offer two queen-size beds, so be sure to ask if that's what you need. And we're always eager to accommodate your little ones, with baby cribs and child-size air mattresses available at no extra charge.
We accept all major credit cards, but if plastic's not your thing, we're happy to accept cash too. With cash payment, you'll need to pay the complete room fee (including taxes) in advance, plus a security deposit. Of course, you’ll get the extra back at check-out when we settle your bill, after a quick room inspection to make sure everything's in order.
Family Plan Policy
Room rates include the accommodation of children (17 years old or younger) who sleep in the existing bedding of a guest room.
Animals are family, too! That’s why Aloft welcomes dogs up to 40 pounds.* Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping!
Guests with pets will be required to sign a pet policy waiver at check-in. Additional charges may apply for cleaning or repairs, even if damage is discovered after your departure.
Connecting Room Policy
Traveling together with family or friends? Many of our Aloft rooms can be connected—usually a king room with a double queen. Make sure to ask when you reserve or check in and we'll do our best to set you up, as availability permits.
All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. A 250 USD cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy.
Early Departure Policy
Rates are based on the length of your stay. If you depart earlier than your original reservation’s departure date, your rate may change to the rate based on your actual stay, and your card will be charged accordingly.
To ensure that all guests enjoy quiet, relaxing stays, moderate noise levels must be maintained in guest rooms throughout the day and night.
