In keeping with our Breathe Westin® initiative, all guest rooms, suites, and public spaces inside the resort are 100% smoke-free. Registered guests who smoke in a guest rooms or suites will incur a penalty fee of 200 USD.
Should the Sarasota County Emergency Management Office issue a Mandatory Evacuation for the City of Sarasota, the resort will require guests to checkout and vacate the resort. In this event, no exceptions will be made and guests will not be required to pay for their unused nights at the resort. If no official evacuation order is issued and guests choose to evacuate, the guests will be responsible for the entire cost of their original stay.

Restaurant patrons must wear shirt and shoes.
Children under the age of 12 must always be accompanied by an adult; diapered children must be in swim diapers. Please be advised that there are no lifeguards on duty. No diving or glass permitted.
Destination Amenity Charge
The daily Destination Amenity Charge includes:

The charge will be billed directly to all guests at a daily rate of 22 USD per room, per night plus taxes. Spa hours, class schedules and other details are subject to change without notice.

Facility Use Policy
A guest must be at least 21 years old to sit at the EVOQ, lobby, or rooftop bar. Guests younger than 21 can sit nearby but not at the bars.
Late Checkout Policy
Checkout time is 12pm. Requests for late checkout are based on availability. Departing after 2pm will result in a charge of 50% of the nightly room rate plus tax; after 4pm, the full nightly room rate plus tax will be applied.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an additional amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the resort will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Meeting Room Policy
Please note that the resort does not permit outside vendors to provide food or beverages to any of our meeting facilities. We also ask that guest do not adhere decorations or any other items to meeting room walls.
Full payment for the guest room and taxes must be provided upon check-in. Should a guest wish to pay with cash, a refundable deposit of 250 USD for incidentals is also required at check-in.
The resort is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Nine accessible guest rooms and one accessible suite are available (subject to availability).
Package Handling Policy
There will be a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the resort for further information.
Voucher Acceptance Policy
We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of any voucher that cannot be verified, is expired or is from a program in which we no longer participate. Please contact the resort for further information.
Travel Insurance Policy
All guests are urged to buy travel insurance for reservations. The resort does not make exceptions for weather related delays, unexpected illness or injury, unexpected work related obligations or other types of personal emergencies. Please contact the resort for further information.
Gift Certificate Policy
The resort is pleased to honor resort-issued gift certificates based upon availability and with prior arrangements. To purchase or redeem a gift certificate, please contact the resort directly.
The maximum occupancy for most room types is five persons (including children).
SPG PARTICIPATION DISCLAIMER
Starpoint Award reservations must be booked at a higher Starpoint rate through your local customer contact center.
A reservation must be guaranteed with an acceptable form of payment, such as a major credit card, at the time of booking. A guest must be at least 21 years old to reserve a room, and a valid photo ID is required at check-in.
Refunds will not be issued for the cancellation of prepaid reservations. Reservations made through third-party websites are subject to those companies’ cancellation policies.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older with valid photo identification. Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed on premises.
Tax Exempt Policy
Guests who claim tax exempt status must present appropriate documentation no later than the date of arrival.
The resort does offer a waitlist. To be added to the list, guests should email the property directly and include name, requested dates, and contact information. Should an opportunity to reserve a room arise, the resort will contact guests directly.
Guests must conduct themselves in an orderly manner and comply with applicable laws. The resort is entitled to remove any person who causes noise or disturbance that is objectionable, improper, or undesirable.
Purchase Order Acceptance Policy
We are unable to accept purchase orders as a form of payment. Guests must present a valid credit card upon check-in.
Extra Bedding Policy
Rollaway beds are available on a request-only basis in select rooms for an additional charge of 25 USD per night. Cribs may be requested at no additional charge. Please contact the resort for further information.
Under state law, the resort is not responsible for loss except for articles stored in safe deposit boxes located at the Front Desk.
Dogs that weigh up to 40 pounds are allowed. No other pets are permitted. Owners will be charged if there is a need for excessive cleaning and damage repairs.
The resort can provide a Heavenly® Dog Bed and a welcome kit with useful information and supplies. A “dog in room” sign should be displayed for the duration of one’s stay. Dogs cannot be left unattended in guest rooms and are not allowed in dining, pool, or spa areas.

Early arrivals are available by request and are subject to availability.
Suite Night Award Cancellation Policy
Suite Night Award requests may be cancelled until 2 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, as long as the Awards have not already been confirmed for use on a reservation. Once your Awards have been confirmed, you must cancel the entire reservation to be credited back all the Awards; however, after 3 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, a reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all Suite Night Awards applied to the entire reservation. This is in addition to any other cancellation penalties applicable to the reservation itself.
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee of 75 USD will be incurred guests checking out prior to their departure date.
Family Plan Policy
Room rates include the accommodation of children (17 years old or younger) who sleep in the existing bedding of a guest room. Rollaway beds may incur extra charges; cribs are included in the cost of the room.

For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a driver's license, passport, and/or proof-of-age card. Photo identification must also match the name that is on the reservation.
