Our Splash pool offers family fun from morning to night! But please be careful—there’s no lifeguard on duty. For that reason, kids under 16 can’t splash around alone, so be sure they’re always accompanied by an adult.
Gift Certificate Policy
Got an Aloft Boston Seaport District gift certificate? You’ll need to contact us directly to make your reservation, which is subject to availability. Make sure your certificate’s been signed and dated by a hotel representative—and be sure to bring it with you when you check in.
Package Handling Policy
We’re happy to accept and hold packages sent to you! There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages, as well as storage. You will just need to sign and show ID to claim your package. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
The hotel does not offer a waitlist.
We ask that all guests respect and refrain from disturbing other guests. Noise complaints and disturbances are handled on a case by case basis and could result in eviction from the hotel if a guest fails to comply with our staff's instructions. Our goal is to keep all guests safe and secure to guarantee an enjoyable stay.
Early Arrival Policy
Check in at 3pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees—it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule—but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime.
Guests with special needs will feel right at home! We’re fully compliant with ADA regulations, including offering guest rooms with accessible features.
Sorry, it’s nothing personal - but we don’t accept personal checks for payment, though corporate checks are accepted with prior authorization.
Sorry—we don’t offer check-cashing services at the hotel. (But we’re happy to help you find a local bank if you need it.)
Age Requirement Policy
Kids are always welcome—as long as there are adults around too! At least one occupant of each Aloft room must be 21 years or older. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Family Plan Policy
Room rates include the accommodation of children (17 years old or younger) who sleep in the existing bedding of a guest room. Rollaway beds and cribs may incur extra charges.
Tax Exempt Policy
All tax exempt guests must provide a copy of their Government/Federal ID, Travel Orders, and fill out a copy of our Internal Tax Exempt ID Verification form.
Connecting Room Policy
Traveling together with family or friends? Many of our Aloft rooms can be connected—usually a king room with a double queen. Make sure to contact the hotel directly and we'll do our best to set you up, as availability permits.
ID Requirement Policy
For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, passport, and/or proof-of-age card. Photo identification must also match the name that is on the reservation.
Late Checkout Policy
Feel free to sleep in—check-out time isn’t until 12 noon. Looking to stick around a bit longer? Let us know and we’ll try to keep the room available for you. There’s no guarantee, but if we need you to clear the room, we can always stash your suitcase somewhere else until you’re ready to go.
In the state of Massachusetts, alcohol is for adults-only—so we only serve and sell to guests 21 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee of one night’s room rate plus tax applies to a checkout prior to the departure date confirmed at check-in. Please check the terms of your reservation for specific conditions or exceptions.
EMV/Chip & PIN Credit Card Policy
Please be aware this hotel is EMV/Chip & PIN ready and your credit card’s PIN may be necessary for you to check-in to the hotel. If you are not aware of the PIN for your chip credit card, or you are unsure if your card requires a PIN, please contact the financial institution that issued your credit card for clarity and to secure your PIN.
Animals are family, too! That’s why Aloft Boston Seaport District welcomes dogs up to 60 pounds. Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping!
Don't forget pets must be attended at all times while staying with us - both in the rooms and in public space. There is a waiver that must be completed at check-in for all pets.
* If your dog weighs more than 60 pounds, please contact the hotel directly to discuss.
Aaahhh…breathe easy! We're a 100% smoke-free environment. You’re welcome to light up outside, but local health codes mean you need to stay at least 20 feet away from any hotel entrance. A $250 USD fine applies to anyone lighting up inside the hotel.
